Here on the Apple Store Online team, we are responsible for Apple’s largest store. Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. Each customer should feel like they are our only customer and our job is to set the bar for the experience they receive. To run such an extraordinary store, it takes extraordinary people, and we are looking for someone to help us do extraordinary things.
We are seeking a strategic and analytically-driven professional to support our Apple Store Online Product organization, focused on optimizing business processes, identification of business insights, and translating complex data into executive and organizational focused business deliverables. This role bridges strategic business and capacity planning functions, and will work with our ASO Product leadership team to ensure they have the data-driven intelligence needed to make informed decisions during portfolio planning, and execution.
Description
This role requires partnering across functional organizations, understanding organizational needs and capabilities, and an ability to create executive and org-level communications that drive clarity and impact across stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, business-minded, and comfortable operating in high-stakes, often ambiguous, fast-paced environments.","responsibilities":"Executive Reporting & Communications: Partner with functional leadership to identify business needs, and to create executive level reports, storytelling narratives, presentations, and communications that provide clear, data-driven insights.
Business Planning & Operations: Oversee the rhythm of the business by planning and preparing for key operational activities such as strategic leadership offsites, org-wide meetings and communications, and more tactical items like goal tracking, budget management, and team member onboarding.
Resource & Capacity Management: Own and operate the resource and capacity management lifecycle by overseeing forecasting processes, conducting detailed scenario analyses, and synthesizing findings that help our leaders drive strategic focus for our teams.
Process Optimization: Continually explore and evaluate new ways of doing things within our team, leveraging workflow and AI driven assistance to optimize core business processes in our team.
Team Culture & Engagement: Champion a connected and high performing team culture by planning and executing team building events and org-wide initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years experience with resource and capacity planning in a project portfolio landscape
e-commerce, digital technology, or omni-channel retail experience
Experience supporting or developing communications directly for senior executives
Expertise within Apple ecosystem tools including Keynote, Numbers, and Pages.
Knowledge of capacity planning software (Meisterplan, Smartsheet, Monday, Clarity)
Advanced scripting and data analysis capabilities
Advanced skills in formulas, v-lookups, pivot tables, and data synthesis
Minimum Qualifications
7 years experience in a technically oriented business planning, chief of staff, or program management role
Experience with resource forecasting and capacity planning processes, across large teams, in a project portfolio landscape.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
Strong strategic and business acumen with demonstrated ability to connect complex concepts and influence senior leadership
Proven ability to develop and create high-impact executive presentations and strategic communications
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment, is detail-oriented and easily manages multiple priorities simultaneously
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,900 and $207,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
