Job Summary:

The Breakfast Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast items in accordance with hotel standards, ensuring high quality, timely service, and guest satisfaction. This role involves working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and contributing to a positive kitchen atmosphere.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, cook, and plate hot breakfast items such as eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, omelets, and other menu items.
     
  • Set up and stock the breakfast cooking station with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
     
  • Ensure food is prepared and served on time and in proper portions, appearance, and temperature.
     
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
     
  • Follow all recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the hotel or brand.
     
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines including proper food handling and storage.
     
  • Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to the supervisor or kitchen lead.
     
  • Assist with receiving, inspecting, and properly storing food deliveries.
