Description

Enterprise Software Implementation Specialist (High-Stakes Steward)ย ย

Remote

Do you feel more in your element, not less, when a project has six stakeholders, three departments, and a deadline that actually matters to someone's budget? Do fleet managers trust your judgment because you clearly understand what they're actually trying to accomplish, not just what boxes need checking? Can you spot a risk quietly building across two different workstreams before anyone else notices it? Do you already reach for AI to move faster through complex data work, and know exactly when to double-check what it hands you? Are you the person other teams call when an enterprise account needs someone steady at the helm? If so, keep reading...ย

The team at RTA is looking for an Enterprise Implementation Specialist: our Enterprise Orchestrator, Cross-Team Conductor, and Fleet360 Authority all rolled into one. Reporting to the Implementation Supervisor, you'll own RTA's largest and most complex customer engagements from signed contract through a confident go-live, serving as the primary customer relationship owner throughout implementation while coordinating across Sales, Fleet Consulting, Training, Support, and CSM while personally cleaning, compiling, and migrating each customer's data into Fleet360 yourself. You'll guide fleet managers through high-stakes configuration decisions, catch risk before it threatens a timeline, and make sure the customer arrives at go-live confident, not just converted. This position plays a direct role in RTA's mission to help fleets succeed, on our most important accounts.ย

What We're Looking Forย

In general, someone who:ย

  • Feels at home being a member of a healthy team. This means they aren't afraid to mix it up or be held accountable by the team, and they are willing to hold others accountable as well. People with trust issues and insecurity need not apply. No, seriously.ย
  • Passionately cares about our clients and helping them be more successful. Our clients are fleet managers, parts clerks, and automotive technicians who maintain everything from squad cars to school buses so that everyone comes home safely at the end of the day.ย
  • Thinks of themselves less, while not thinking less of themselves. They are other-centric and compassionate.ย
  • Is willing to lift boxes, clean floors, and hold doors if that's what it takes to get something done.ย
  • Loves to read, learn, grow, and stretch themselves. Bonus points for each book you've read by Patrick Lencioni.ย
  • Is constantly looking for more: more to learn, more to do, and more opportunity.ย
  • Has implementation, onboarding, or complex project management experience. Preferred but not required. If you've managed multi-stakeholder engagements before, in any industry, you'll hit the ground running.ย

Specifically for this job, someone who:ย

  • Owns the timeline and sequencing across 6 to 8 concurrent enterprise engagements at once, each with its own set of stakeholders, workstreams, and dependencies that all have to land on the same go-live date.ย
  • Coordinates explicitly across Sales, Fleet Consulting, Training, Support, and CSM at defined handoff points, keeping every team's commitments visible instead of assumed.ย
  • Proactively surfaces risk, including cross-departmental dependencies that are quietly stalling, and brings a mitigation plan instead of just a flag.ย
  • Guides customers through high-stakes fleet configuration decisions with enough credibility that they trust your judgment, not just your process.ย
  • Builds confidence with enterprise customers by communicating proactively, setting clear expectations, and creating trust long before issues ever arise.ย
  • Personally executes data cleanup, compilation, and migration into Fleet360 for every engagement. This is hands-on work you do yourself, not something you simply coordinate or hand off..ย
  • Assesses data health across multiple workbooks or source systems, spotting incompleteness or structural problems before they become a go-live problem.ย
  • Is comfortable with nested formulas, multi-condition logic, and multi-tab, interconnected workbooks, using AI to work through them efficiently and catching it when the output is wrong.ย
  • Holds the agreed scope line with customers, knowing when a variation needs documentation, an addendum, or a real escalation.ย
  • Operates with an AI-first mindset, using AI to accelerate data analysis, customer communication, troubleshooting, and project execution-while knowing exactly when human judgment is required. This one is not optional here.ย

RTA's biggest customers carry the most people, the most vehicles, and the most on the line if something falls through the cracks. You're the one holding it together when six teams and a dozen open items all need to land in the same place at the same time. Are you the reason it comes together instead of falling apart? Let's find out.ย

This Role Probably Is Not for You if...ย

  • You want one team and one clear lane. This role means coordinating Sales, Fleet Consulting, Training, Support, and CSM on every single engagement, often all at once.ย
  • You'd rather hand off the data work. Cleaning, compiling, and migrating enterprise-scale data across multiple workbooks is yours to do personally, every time.ย
  • You wait for someone else to flag risk. If a cross-departmental dependency is quietly stalling, naming it and building the mitigation plan is your job, not someone else's.ย
  • You get uncomfortable pushing back on a fleet manager's configuration decision when your judgment says otherwise. Enterprise customers need someone credible enough to have that conversation.ย
  • You treat scope creep as a later problem. On accounts this size, an undocumented variation can turn into real financial or timeline exposure fast.ย
  • You think using AI is cutting corners, or you're waiting for someone else to figure out how it fits your job. At RTA, that's not a personality quirk. It's a mismatch with the role.ย
  • You want to operate as a free agent. You'll report to the Implementation Supervisor and stay in constant contact with Sales, Fleet Consulting, Training, Support, and CSM throughout every engagement. If you'd rather go solo, keep scrolling.ย

Key Results Areas (aka the Job Outcomes)ย

  • Maintain a portfolio of 6 to 8 concurrent enterprise engagements at any given time, with every workstream, stakeholder commitment, and open item assigned a real owner and a real date.ย
  • Hit the agreed go-live date on at least 90% of assigned engagements each quarter, surfacing at-risk timelines with a mitigation plan at least 2 weeks before they slip.ย
  • Personally complete data cleanup, compilation, and migration into Fleet360 for 100% of assigned engagements, with zero downstream data-quality escalations traced back to migration error.ย
  • Log 100% of customer scope variations in the account record, escalating any that require an addendum within 2 business days of identification.ย
  • Maintain a customer satisfaction rating of 90% or higher across completed enterprise implementations each quarter.ย
  • Put at least one new AI-assisted workflow into practice per quarter that measurably speeds up data review, customer communication, or troubleshooting.ย
  • Achieve 95% completion of internal implementation milestones on or before committed dates, ensuring downstream teams receive clean, complete handoffs.ย

Qualificationsย

OK, the boring HR part of the job posting that looks like every other posting out there, but it's necessary:ย

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing implementation, onboarding, or project management role, B2B SaaS strongly preferredย
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple stakeholders and workstreams across departments simultaneouslyย
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with comfort in nested formulas, multi-condition logic, and multi-tab, interconnected workbooksย
  • Comfortable guiding customers through high-stakes configuration decisions, including conversations with senior fleet and operations leadersย
  • Demonstrated, real-world use of AI tools to increase speed or accuracy in your work, with specific examples you can speak toย
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skillsย
  • Fleet, fleet-adjacent, or public sector operations experience preferred, not required. We define this broadly:ย
  • Direct fleet or asset operations: fleet manager, shop supervisor, maintenance coordinator, or municipal, school, and EMS fleet operationsย
  • Fleet-adjacent industries: transportation and logistics, public works, construction or utilities equipment, waste managementย
  • Fleet-adjacent software: implementation or onboarding experience with other fleet, asset, or maintenance management platformsย
  • Exposure to SQL or structured databases preferred, not required, including comfort reading relational table structures and writing or modifying basic queriesย
  • Bachelor's Degree not required. Relevant experience and breadth of knowledge matters moreย

Nick Fury never threw a punch. He assembled the team, coordinated the moving parts, and made sure everyone showed up in the right place at the right time. Think you can do that for six to eight enterprise fleets at once? Prove it.ย

The Bottom Lineย

You've made it this far, congratulations. We're looking for someone with an almost frightening intensity around orchestration, credibility, and follow-through, someone who can hold a six-team engagement together without losing sight of a single open item. If you feel a quiet thrill when a complicated account lands exactly where it's supposed to, on time and without drama, we want to talk.ย

Compensation & Work Locationย

  • Total compensation for this role is between $120,000 and $135,000 based on experience.ย
  • This is a full-time, fully remote-eligible role, including for candidates based in the Phoenix metro area.ย
  • Occasional visits to RTA HQ in Glendale, Arizona for team events should be expected.ย
  • Travel to customer sites is minimal, less than 10% annually, based on business needs.ย
  • This position is classified as exempt and is not eligible for overtime pay.ย
