Job description

Mechanical Engineers perform continuous new product development activities by designing detailed product specifications, conducting Gold Standard meetings, and analyzing prototype builds and new manufacturing process designs. Given the stringent requirements and overall complexity of Marco manufactured products, Engineers are tasked to collaborate with Tech Services, Quality, and Manufacturing personnel to perform testing and subsequent analysis of design iterations, as well as work hand-in-hand with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Corporate subject matter experts for the given product lines to achieve customer and marketplace design criteria.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Take the lead on many simultaneous projects while attaining high results with minimal guidance
  • Complete other tasks as assigned or needed
  • Graduate in Mechanical engineering or related 4-year degree with 5 years of practical experience.
  • Solid knowledge of CREO CAD package.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor or a team player.
  • Good administrative, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have strong organization and planning skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds is necessary. The vision requirements include close vision.
