Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Day Shift Inpatient Rehab (IRF) position requiring an Oregon RN license and Epic EMR experience.

Details
  • Work in a 42-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital (IRF)
  • Unit provides rehabilitation care for stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury patients
  • Patient population includes adults, some geriatric, and rehab patients
  • Patient ratios of 5:1 RN/LPN and 7:1 CNA
  • Utilizes Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing system
  • Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
  • Every other weekend rotation required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • No floating required
Requirements
  • Active Oregon RN license required on hand
  • Current BLS certification required (AHA certifications required)
  • Minimum 1+ years of RN experience required
  • No new graduates considered
  • IRF and Med-Surg experience required
  • No LTC experience accepted
  • Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
  • Provide rehabilitative nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
  • Any color scrubs accepted
  • Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
  • Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
  • Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
