Description:

The Logistics Specialist at Hyper Solutions plays a key role in managing inbound and outbound freight operations across Hyper Hub and its manufacturing partner network. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient transportation logistics, inventory movement, cost control, and on-time delivery of materials and finished products.


This role works closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Service, manufacturing partners, warehouses, and freight providers to maintain a reliable logistics network that supports Hyper’s manufacturing and service operations. The Logistics Specialist also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives that optimize transportation efficiency, inventory visibility, and warehouse logistics processes.


This position is well-suited for a highly organized supply chain professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex logistics and transportation challenges.


Core Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound freight operations across Hyper Hub, manufacturing partners, and warehouse locations
  • Coordinate shipments with internal teams, manufacturing partners, warehouses, and customers
  • Optimize freight routing and transportation strategies to improve delivery performance and reduce costs
  • Manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics providers
  • Monitor shipment activity, resolve transportation issues, and ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods
  • Maintain accurate product weight and dimension records for transportation planning
  • Support inventory receipt processes and resolve discrepancies impacting finished goods availability
  • Oversee logistics workflows supporting warehouse operations and inventory movement
  • Maintain accurate visibility of finished goods inventory across warehouses and partner locations
  • Coordinate logistics activities for special projects, supplier transfers, and development initiatives

Additional Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain logistics standard operating procedures (SOPs) across warehouses and manufacturing sites
  • Track and report logistics performance metrics including freight costs, transit times, and on-time delivery rates
  • Participate in carrier and freight forwarder performance reviews
  • Identify opportunities to improve transportation efficiency, warehouse logistics, and inventory flow
  • Support service operations and logistics coordination as needed
  • Collaborate with Operations, Service, and third-party manufacturing partners to improve supply chain performance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5–10 years of experience in logistics, transportation management, or supply chain operations
  • Experience working with transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP platforms
  • Strong analytical skills including logistics cost analysis and route optimization
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting manufacturing logistics and transportation operations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across a distributed partner network

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP platforms
  • Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs compliance
  • Certification such as CLTD, CSCP, or equivalent supply chain credential
  • Experience working with third-party manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management best practices

Compensation

The anticipated minimum hiring range for this role is $85,000 - $95,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications and location. This hire will be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
