Job description

Warehouse Agent
  • Job Type: Full-Time (On-site) 

  • Location: Doral, FL

  • Salary Range: $14.84 - $25.44


Position Summary

The Warehouse Agent is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely handling of all inbound and outbound freight within the terminal. This role supports daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, kitting, shipping, and dispatch coordination while adhering 100% to safety, compliance, TSA regulations, and client SOPs.

The Warehouse Agent works closely with internal teams, drivers, customers, and vendors to ensure cargo is processed efficiently and accurately. Experience in handling air and ocean freight in a freight-forwarding warehouse environment is required.


Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Freight Handling

  • Load, unload, sort, and move palletized and non-palletized freight using manual and motorized equipment.

  • Receive freight by verifying quantities against packing slips and shipping documents.

  • Inspect inbound freight for visible damage; document overages, shortages, and damages (OSD) and take photos as required.

  • Stage, stock, and store freight in designated warehouse locations using appropriate material handling equipment.

  • Manage loading of EUV vehicles to meet loading requirements and ensure proper sealing.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with waste management and safety guidelines.

  • Conduct daily dock checks and report findings to management.

Safety, Security & Compliance

  • Comply with all TSA rules, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Secure dock and warehouse areas; unauthorized individuals are not present without an escort.

  • Ensure all equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) is in safe working condition and report issues promptly.

Dispatch & Administrative Support

  • Assist with dispatch-related duties, including:

    • Entering containers into the system

    • Scheduling pickups and deliveries with customers

    • Dispatching and coordinating empty returns to depots

    • Supporting billing and documentation

  • Turn in all receiving paperwork to the office upon completion of the receiving process.

  • Provide occasional invoice and reconciliation support.

  • Assist Intermodal Drayage and other operational teams with administrative tasks as needed.

  • Work effectively under time constraints while maintaining accuracy.

Customer Service & Teamwork

  • Communicate professionally with customers, drivers, and vendors.

  • Build positive working relationships with drivers and assist with efficient routing when needed.

  • Demonstrate a customer-service-oriented, team-focused attitude at all times.


Qualifications & Experience
  • Prior experience in a freight forwarding warehouse environment required.

  • Experience in handling air cargo; familiarity with airport and port operations required.

  • Experience with ocean freight and cruise ship cargo preferred.

  • Experience using a Warehouse Management System; Magaya experience preferred.

  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, dollies, and other material handling equipment.

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs consistently.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Work Schedule
  • Standard schedule: 8 hours per day with applicable meal and rest breaks.
  • Overtime is regularly required.

  • Weekend work as business needs dictate.


Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Regularly required to walk, stand, sit, kneel, crouch, and reach.
  • Frequent use of hands for handling freight.

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds.

  • Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Warehouse environment with exposure to moving equipment and varying temperatures.


Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $14.84 - $25.44

Starting pay is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, skills, and job-related knowledge. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
