What is a freelance third party risk management professional?

A freelance third party risk management professional is an independent consultant who helps organizations identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with engaging external vendors or service providers. They evaluate third-party relationships for compliance, security, and operational risks, often developing risk assessment frameworks and recommending best practices.
