Job description

Location: Horicon, WI Salary: $50.00 USD Hourly - $55.00 USD Hourly Description:
Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Horicon, WI
Duration: 24 months with possible extension
Key Responsibilities
  • Define, own, and develop electrical system requirements (hardware and/or software) in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Design, develop, and release vehicle electrical systems, including wiring harnesses and associated components.
  • Create, maintain, and organize Bills of Material (BOMs) for electrical systems.
  • Partner with suppliers to assess component feasibility, support development activities, and ensure successful system integration.
  • Provide hands-on support during prototype builds, testing, and production phases across the product development cycle.
  • Manage project deliverables and ensure timely completion of assigned engineering tasks.
  • Support product validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in vehicle electrical system design, integration, validation, or testing.
  • Experience developing, designing, or testing electrical components, wiring harnesses, schematics, and hardware/software interfaces.
  • Proven ability to manage engineering deliverables and work independently.
  • Understanding of product development processes and engineering best practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-driven with effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to support off-shift production activities and product builds as required.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in off-highway, agricultural, construction, recreational, automotive, or heavy equipment vehicle development.
  • Experience creating and maintaining Bills of Material (BOMs) for vehicle systems or test equipment.
  • Knowledge of embedded software development, product validation, verification processes, and test automation, including SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) and HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) environments.
  • Experience developing wiring harnesses and electrical systems using 3D CAD tools.
  • Project management experience with the ability to lead technical initiatives.
  • Experience mentoring, training, or guiding junior engineers and team members.
  • Experience coordinating design or testing activities with geographically distributed teams.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering methodologies and practices.
  • Additional education or training in related engineering disciplines.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
