Job description

Position Summary...The Manager, Learning Designer developments, implements, and continuously improves the technology-enabled learning programs for Customer Engagement Services. This role designs / builds high-quality learning experiences, manages content within the Intellum (LMS) learning platform, and drives effective use of tools such as Articulate RISE, Evolve, and related learning technologies. AI tools are also used daily to help enhance programs and course work.
The Manager partners with operational leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to identify performance needs, develop scalable learning solutions, and ensure programs are accessible, current, and actively used by their intended audiences. Success in this role requires strong instructional design expertise, learning-platform proficiency, program management skills, and the ability to use data to improve learner engagement, adoption, and business outcomes.   • Design, develop, publish, and maintain the learning programs within Intellum and other learning systems. 
  • Create technology-enabled learning solutions, including instructor-led materials, eLearning, videos, assessments, simulations, infographics, and just-in-time resources. 
  • Structure curricula and learner pathways that make programs easy to access, navigate, and complete. 
  • Drive learner and stakeholder adoption of learning platforms, programs, and educational technologies. 
  • Monitor program usage, completion, engagement, learner feedback, and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities. 
  • Track and report published assets, work in progress, incoming requests, and program performance. 
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify skill and performance gaps and align learning solutions with operational priorities and key performance indicators. 
  • Evaluate existing learning programs for effectiveness, accuracy, accessibility, and continued business relevance. 
  • Recommend and implement innovative learning tools, templates, content models, and publishing standards. 
  • Provide guidance on instructional design, adult learning principles, content development, and learning-platform best practices. 
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with technical and non-technical teams. 
  • Ensure learning programs meet quality, compliance, accessibility, and ethical standards. 
 
Minimum Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant professional experience. 
  • Two or more years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or digital learning. 
  • Experience developing and managing content within a learning management system. 
  • Experience using tools such as Intellum, Articulate 360, Evolve, or comparable learning technologies. 
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Experience managing projects or programs from intake through implementation. 
  • Experience using data, metrics, and learner feedback to improve learning programs. 
  • Strong written, verbal, visual communication, and problem-solving skills. 
 
 
Preferred Qualifications 
  • Experience administering or implementing an LMS or learning experience platform. 
  • Experience with xAPI, learning analytics, content integrations, or advanced reporting. 
  • Industry certification in instructional design, learning technology, or project management. 
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and formal, informal, and performance-support methodologies. 
  • Experience developing interactive exercises, system simulations, videos, websites, and just-in-time learning solutions. 
  • Demonstrated ability to increase program adoption, engagement, completion, or learner performance. 
  • Strong visual design skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts through clear language and visuals. 
  • Ability to prioritize competing needs and exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
