Air Power Defense Portfolio Director

The Opportunity:

Serve as an Executive to advance our rapidly growing Air Power business, encompassing mission-focused technology bringing speed to outcomes. Expand Booz Allen's position as a leader in the Air Force market space by expanding and strengthening client engagements as well as participate in industry forums, events and symposiums, and publishing and speaking engagements. Build the Booz Allen brand as an advanced technology company informing senior Air Force clients about emerging solutions to accelerate Air Force readiness. Track Air Force requirements, provide market intelligence, and enhance education on the Air Force strategy, requirements, and budgeting. Provide leadership to next level leaders supporting the broader Aerospace, Global Defense, and National Security strategy agenda through reviewing and recommending adjustments to business and contract portfolio, capabilities, and talent. Ensure quality delivery across all aspects of the business portfolio include operations, growth strategy, and technical delivery.

You Have:

  • 15+ years of experience leading Air Force operational missions, R&D, acquisition, and test functions across Air Force or Navy programs

  • 5+ years of experience with delivering executive leadership and oversight for Aviation systems or services programs and organizations

  • Experience with current Aviation technology trends, including AI, Electronic Warfare, Hypersonic, Digital Engineering, Autonomous and Unmanned, Supply Chain, and Advanced Data Analytics

  • Experience with managing a portfolio of clients and programs and managing and developing people

  • Ability to analyze current needs and identify viable business development opportunities in the Air Force and broader DoD market space

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with business development, including established relationships in the Washington Metro Area

  • Experience with Air Force organizations, including the Air Force R&D, HQ Air Force, Major Commands, and the Combatant Commands

  • Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $162,800.00 to $303,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
