Job Summary:

The Business Program Manager I leads Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes and develops pricing strategies through detailed cost and Margin Value Analysis (MVA) to translate customer requirements into executable projects and manage the product lifecycle from New Product Introduction (NPI) through mass production. Additionally, the Business Program Manager provides market and competitor insights to support strategic decision-making, while coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure profitability and on-time delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead RFQ consolidation and pricing strategy development, including Bill of Materials (BOM) cost analysis and MVA optimization to ensure competitive and profitable offerings.
  • Translate customer technical and commercial requirements into executable internal projects, while negotiating key terms such as pricing, lead time, and payment conditions to drive successful deal closure.
  • Manage the full order lifecycle from prototype and NPI to mass production, proactively tracking progress and dynamically adjusting forecasts to ensure revenue target achievement.
  • Monitor North American AI server market trends, analyze competitor product portfolios and pricing strategies, and deliver actionable insights to support business development decision-making.
  • Act as the central cross-functional coordinator and primary commercial interface, collaborating with Taipei-based R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, and PMO teams to resolve issues impacting project profitability and delivery.

Education:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or above in Business, Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Management, or related fields.

Experience:

  • Entry level role; 0 โ€“ 2 years of experience.
  • Experience in B2B manufacturing sales, including RFQ management, pricing strategy, and contract negotiation, with the ability to convert customer requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Knowledgeable in SMT, PCBA, and final assembly processes, with a solid understanding of BOM structures and electronic products.
  • Demonstrated project management abilities, managing multiple projects and RFQs, tracking timelines, risks, and milestones to ensure on-time execution.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills, proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM/ERP systems.
  • Strong English communication skills with demonstrated high ownership, proactiveness and accountability, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, global environments and adaptable to international travel and global time zone communication
  • Bilingual language skills in Chinese and English is a plus but not required.
