Job Description โ€“ FPW Specialist

FSLA Status: Exempt

Location: Lordstown, OH

Reports To: FPW Manager

Primary Function: As a key member of the Foxconn Production Way (FPW) team, you will be responsible for administering the Foxconn Production Way, supporting strategic initiatives, maintaining plant standards, and driving continuous improvement across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, implementation, and governance of the Foxconn Production Way (FPW).
  • Administer, maintain, and continuously improve the QT9 Quality Management System (QMS), including system configuration, user access, workflow management, document control, and user support.
  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain FPW training programs, materials, and competency assessments.
  • Administer and support the company's Objective Planning (Policy Deployment) process, including annual objective setting and KPI development for departments.
  • Build, maintain, analyze, and present dashboards, KPIs, performance metrics, monthly reports, and executive business reviews.
  • Facilitate problem-solving workshops, Kaizen events, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Conduct FPW, Layered Process, and management system audits to evaluate compliance, identify improvement opportunities, and support corrective actions.
  • Support the implementation of Daily Management Systems, including shop floor daily standing meetings and visual management.
  • Plan and coordinate annual objective-setting workshops and strategic planning sessions.
  • Lead cross-functional and executive meetings by preparing agendas, documenting meeting minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Utilize digital tools and technology to improve reporting, visibility, and operational performance.
  • Maintain and promote plant standards through standardized work, process discipline, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Candidates with equivalent education and relevant manufacturing experience will be considered.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years of manufacturing experience required; high-volume manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, production systems, or the Foxconn Production Way (FPW).
  • Experience supporting or leading cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Experience developing dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports.
  • Experience planning, conducting, or supporting internal audits, including ISO management system audits and Layered Process Audits (LPA), is preferred.
  • Experience conducting training, workshops, and facilitating cross-functional meetings is preferred.
  • Experience implementing and promoting standardized work, problem solving, waste elimination, and continuous improvement within the Foxconn Production Way (FPW) framework is preferred.
