Manufacturing Engineer (EPD II)
Foxconn Assembly LLC
San Jose, CA
What to Expect
You will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and high -quality products. This is an on-site role, and physical presence at the facility is required to perform the job responsibilities effectively.
What You'll Do
• Design and implement manufacturing processes and systems
• Develop and test automated and manual systems
• Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria
• Collaborate with Quality Control Teams to ensure products meet established standards
• Design manufacturing fixtures and equipment, including installation, validation, and maintenance
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services
• Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements
• Optimize facility layouts, production lines, and machine operations
• Monitor production costs and assist in budget preparation while implementing measures to reduce waste and manage expenses
• Train workers in new and existing manufacturing processes
• Work closely with other engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth facility operations, including coordinating plans, resolving manufacturing issues and continuously improving production effective and performance
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support business objectives.
What You'll Bring:
• A bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Server Assembly Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
• A strong customer service and satisfaction mindset
• Flexibility and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure manufacturing environment
• Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and achieving production goals
• 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing system assembly or mechanical engineering, familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing technologies
