Product Engineer (EPD II)
Foxconn Assembly LLC

What to Expect
This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of product designs and ensuring seamless production processes. This role involves: managing BOMs, overseeing ECOs, product label template management, and coordinating with various departments to optimize production efficiency and ensure product accuracy.
What You'll Do
  • Create, maintain, and update BOMs for all products to ensure accurate and efficient production
  • Manage ECOs to implement product modifications and ensure timely updates to the BOM
  • Collaborate with Customer, Design and Production Teams to validate changes and minimize production disruptions
  • Identify opportunities for improving production processes and reducing costs while maintaining product quality
  • Liaise with Suppliers, Production Teams, and other departments to ensure product specifications and requirements are understood and met
  • Communicate with stakeholders regarding product updates, changes, and production schedules
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs.

What You'll Bring
  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Ideal to have 2 to 4 years of experience in Product Engineering or Manufacturing Operations
  • Strong knowledge of BOM and ECO processes
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and product data management (Agile) systems
  • A strong customer service and satisfaction mindset
  • Flexibility and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure manufacturing environment
  • Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and achieving production goals
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Night (11:30PM-8AM)
Work Location: San Jose, CA (on-site daily)
Compensation: $110,000 -132,000 annually, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
