We are currently seeking a highly skilled Field Application Engineer (FAE) with a strong background in mechanical and electronic engineering to join our North America team. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as the primary technical interface between Foxconn and our customers, providing application support and technical solutions.
  2. Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to identify and resolve customer technical issues.
  3. Deliver product presentations, technical training, and on-site troubleshooting.
  4. Support customers with mechanical/electronic system design, testing, and integration.
  5. Assist in new product introduction (NPI), including design validation and customer qualification.
  6. Gather and relay customer feedback to internal R&D for continuous product improvement.
  7. Manage pre- and post-sales support activities and maintain excellent client relationships.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
  2. Minimum 2 years of working experience in mechanical or electronic system applications (product development, integration, or support).
  3. Solid understanding of mechanical components, electronic circuits, and system-level integration.
  4. Strong communication and customer service skills.
  5. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  6. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 30%).
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience working with manufacturing clients or OEM/ODM environments.
  2. Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) and circuit analysis software.
  3. Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings.
  4. Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a strong plus.
