Reports To: Grill Supervisor | Director of Food & Beverage
Position Overview:
The Founder’s Grill Lead delivers an elevated, efficient, and member-focused food and beverage experience within the Founder’s Grill and surrounding recreation areas. This role ensures operational excellence, supports team development, upholds Club standards, and enhances overall member experience while maximizing revenue opportunities.
Leadership & Operations:

• Provide exceptional service aligned with Club standards.
• Greet members by name when possible and create a personalized experience.
• Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures including attendance, timekeeping, dress code, safety, etc.
• Maintain professionalism in a fast-paced seasonal environment.
• Review daily BEOs and Club communications impacting Grill operations.
• Support other F outlets when business levels require.
• Assist with end-of-day reporting, reconciliation, auditing, cash handling, operational closeout procedures, crisis management and conflict resolution.
Service & Operational Execution:
• Accurately take, prepare, and deliver food and beverage orders to presentation standards.
• Perform bartending duties as needed in compliance with liquor laws and Club policy.
• Monitor inventory levels and execute proper restocking and rotation procedures. (FIFO)
• Ensure food and liquor transfers are properly documented and controlled.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all service areas, patio, storage, and workstations.
• Assist with golf course grill stations, BBQ events, and portable bar setups.
Leadership & Accountability:
• Coordinate daily food preparation transfers and ensure prep sheets are submitted by
12:00 PM Wednesday and Sunday.
• Submit required end-of-day reports.
• Assist in training new team members and complete training documentation.
• Ensure daily cleaning checklists are completed and standards upheld.
• Oversee proper disposal of recycling, oil, and linen procedures.
• Serve as a resource for staff questions and reinforce service standards.
• Arrive punctual, prepared, and ready to lead each shift.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining the hospitality excellence and operational standards of Colorado Springs Country Club.
