Summary
The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor of Pipe, Valve, and Fittings (PVF), is looking for a full-time Counter Sales Representative to serve customers at our will call counter. We specialize in commercial and industrial PVF solutions, including valves, boilers, pipe fittings, grooved fittings, PVC, plumbing, and heating and cooling systems. As an authorized distributor of industry-leading brands including Victaulic and Spirax Sarco, we provide mechanical contractors with the products and expertise they need.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, self-driven individual to join our growing team.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers at the will call counter
  • Process customer orders and transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide product recommendations and technical guidance on PVF applications
  • Prepare quotations and bids for customer requests
  • Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Maintain knowledge of inventory availability and product specifications
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service
  • Computer entry and order processing
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of both preferred
  • Experience in trades, plumbing, heating and cooling, toolmaking, or mechanical fields is a plus
  • Familiarity with pipe fittings, valves, boilers, PVC, grooved fittings, or fire suppression systems is beneficial
  • Able to project professionalism in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills
  • Motivated team player who takes initiative
