Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Store Manager for our Dunedin (6000 square feet) location to lead our retail team to success! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store operations, drive sales growth, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Your leadership will inspire your team to achieve their best while maintaining a vibrant, organized, and welcoming store environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong management skills and a passion for retail excellence. As a Store Manager, you will be the driving force behind operational efficiency, team development, and sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and merchandising to meet or exceed business goals.
  • Interview, and onboard new team members while providing ongoing training and development to foster a high-performing workforce.
  • Manage employee schedules.
  • Oversee inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize sales opportunities and minimize shrinkage.
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, cash handling, sales reporting, and financial reconciliation with accuracy.
  • Enforce store policies related to safety, security, health regulations, and store cleanliness.
  • Foster a team-oriented environment through leadership in training while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience in retail or grocery stores with demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams.
  • Strong knowledge of retail math including sales management, pricing strategies, inventory control, and budgeting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage customers effectively; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
