Food Service Managers:
Elementary, Middle and Secondary
Performs management and operational activities related to the school kitchen. Directs, supervises, monitors, evaluates and modifies the planning, preparation, serving and clean-up of meals and catering. Manages inventories, including monitoring stock levels, ordering food and supplies, receiving and inspection orders, organizing storage and maintaining the safety of all food supplies. Trains, directs and supervises assigned kitchen personnel. Researches, prepares, records and distributes various financial and operational reports and summaries preparing product consumption, meal counts, cash reconciliation, and meal preparation. Operates cash register and computer, assists with processing of advanced payments from students/parents and prepares end of day reports. Continuous training required. Reports to Food Service Director.
