Kellwell Food Management, a Correctional Food Service Provider is now hiring a Food Service Manager at the Jefferson County Jail located in Madison, IN This is a Full-Time position with benefits. We have weekly pay and the starting rate for this position is $19.00 an hour.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Correctional Food Service Manager. The role involves overseeing meal preparation, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, managing food inventory, and supervising kitchen staff within a correctional facility environment. The Correctional Food Service Manager will also handle scheduling, ensure cost-effective operations, and maintain adherence to nutritional guidelines. Additionally, the role includes ensuring facility requirements are met, managing staff training, and addressing any operational concerns promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Food Preparation, Culinary Arts, and Food Sanitization
  • Skills in Team Leadership, Staff Supervision, and Training Management
