Your Responsibilities Will Include- Performing thorough assessments of patients, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating individualized plans of care
- Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic health issues, either collaboratively with physicians or independently according to your credentials
- Informing and educating patients and their families about wellness, prevention, and disease management strategies
- Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your professional scope
- Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic conditions
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Documenting details meticulously within electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Indiana
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or its equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within the first 90 days)
