About This Position

** This position is eligible for an annual bonus of up to 15% after one year of employment, provided all applicable criteria are met**

The General Manager plans, directs and coordinates the activities associated with running multiple facilities (at least 2 or more). This includes ensuring all team members are adequately trained and capable to perform job responsibilities in a safe and compliant manner, managing food service operations and ensuring they are in compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as required local, state and federal laws and regulations, and ensuring all facilities maintain accurate on-site reports of daily and monthly financial, production, and activity.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
  • Supervise, train, and instruct team members in general food service practices
  • Ensures all team members are adequately trained and capable to perform job responsibilities in a safe and compliant manner
  • Directs team members to ensure job-related rules, policies, procedures, and security guidelines are enforced
  • Maintain product service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating complaints
  • Manages food service operations and ensures they are in compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as required local, state and federal laws and regulations
  • Ensures all facilities maintain a sanitary food service environment by following food service and Health Department codes and regulations
  • Ensures all facilities maintain accurate on-site reports of daily and monthly financial, production, and activity
  • Maintain contract compliance and cost control
  • Other duties as determined by the needs of the business
What You'll Need
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree preferred; High School diploma/GED plus equivalent experience required.
  • SERV Safe Certified.
  • At least five (5) years of food service experience, preferably in a correctional setting.
  • Previous multi-unit supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Must have experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering, receiving and cost control.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications is required.
