Job description

As a Food Service Associate you will greet customers, deliver exceptional service with courtesy, and handle inquiries. Your goal will be to provide exceptional service and customer experiences. Your success will be determined by your ability to support your team members and customers during every interaction.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the brand and "The Irving" customer experience standards
  • Greeting customers, including answering phones, by providing clients with the highest level of customer service, demonstrated through a courteous demeanor, and outstanding service
  • Prepare a variety of foods according to customers' orders or supervisors' instructions, following approved procedures
  • Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages and package take-outs if needed
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain food preparation and serving areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and work surfaces to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
  • Ensure food is stored and cooked at the correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, refrigeration, and other kitchen equipment
  • Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and added items, and rotating stock
  • Handle, store, and rotate all food products and supplies according to The Irving policies and procedures
  • Wash, mix, peel and/or cut various foods to prepare for cooking or serving

Your Skills:

Your Experience:
  • 2 years in a customer service role
  • G.E.D or equivalent
