The Production Machine Operator is responsible for converting raw materials into finished products according to production orders while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.

Position Details

  • Position: Production Machine Operator
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
  • Pay: Based on experience
  • Schedule: Full-time with overtime available as needed

Responsibilities

  • Operate, set up, and adjust production machinery to produce finished products according to specifications.
  • Convert raw materials into finished products while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished goods.
  • Inspect products for quality and accurately complete inspection records.
  • Package finished products according to job order requirements.
  • Record production data, including time, materials, packaging, and other required information.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and finished products.
  • Keep production and warehouse areas clean and organized.
  • Follow all safety procedures and support.
  • Assist in training Machine Operator Trainees.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
  • Experience operating printing presses, printing equipment, or as a Press Operator is highly preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and use measuring devices for product inspection.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic equipment maintenance.
  • Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
