As an Information Technology (IT) Technician, you'll maintain the reliability and functionality of in-house computer hardware and software systems for the facility including the factory floor and administrative offices. You will coordinate the deployment, installation, upgrades, and de-installation of desktop hardware and software to meet the needs of the business. You'll provide support for plant floor systems while resolving users' requests related to computer hardware and software issues.

  • Install, configure, performance tune, administer, and troubleshoot all in-house, computer-related hardware and software.
  • Comply with company data backup, disaster recovery, software licensing, security, and authorization policies.
  • Contribute analytical and technical expertise regarding in-house, computer-related hardware and plant/business information technology.
  • Promote cost effective, high-performance computer technology that supports continuous improvement for productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of computer-related hardware and software assets.
  • Provide analytical, technical, and developmental expertise to support existing and future plant computer-related hardware, plant floor data collection systems, and business information systems.
  • Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and formulate corrective actions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years related information systems/information technology experience

OR

  • 2-year technical degree

The approximate pay range for this position is $49,000 to $70,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
