Food & Beverage Manager
Job Overview
The Food & Beverage Manager works closely with the Food & Beverage Management Team to oversee both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, including Restaurant, Bar, Banquet, and Kitchen functions. This position ensures high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
Reports to: Director of Food & Beverage
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house Food & Beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, banquet, kitchen, and function areas.
  • Lead and support both service and culinary teams to ensure efficient operations and an excellent guest experience.
  • Work with Human Resources and the Director of Food & Beverage on recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management.
  • Ensure food quality, presentation, service, cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards are consistently maintained.
  • Promote effective communication and teamwork between front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
  • Supervise cash handling procedures, inventory, supplies, and operational cost controls.
  • Identify training opportunities and provide ongoing coaching and development to staff.
  • Address guest concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Assist with local Food & Beverage business opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Food & Beverage.

Qualifications/Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or Hotel & Restaurant Management preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Food & Beverage experience required; supervisory experience in a full-service or luxury hotel environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of both front-of-house and back-of-house restaurant, bar, banquet, and kitchen operations.
  • Basic computer skills required; Microsoft Office, Micros, and Toast
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and guest service skills.
  • Professional written and verbal English communication skills; conversational Spanish desired.
  • Active Food Handler's certificate preferred.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
