Internship Highlights:

  • Practical Experience: Interns will engage in outdoor landscape maintenance across a 121-acre arboretum featuring computerized irrigation and GPS-tracked plant material.
  • On-the-Job Instruction:  Gain insights into plant care, plant materials, landscape maintenance, and irrigation systems."
  • Educational Enrichment: Participating interns will attend educational sessions and field trips to other horticultural institutions, providing a well-rounded complement to academic study.
  • Academic Credit: College credit is encouraged and can be arranged independently by the student.


Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some existing familiarity with plant care and landscape maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of irrigation systems
  • Experience with pesticide application or willingness to learn
