Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall activities of all CCCH linens, towels, uniforms, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to:
  • Supports Housekeeping by fulfilling laundry responsibilities to include but not be limited to:
    1. Comforters, micro towels, bed scarves, and pool towels linens, blankets, pillows and uniforms.
  • Keep laundry room products: Ecolab detergents, spot cleaners, and chemicals inventoried and stocked. Report to housekeeping manager or supervisor of low inventory to be ordered.
  • Keep the laundry area clean from debris and check the water vent to ensure free flow (to prevent flooding).
  • Ensure dryer filters are clean and free from debris and lint build up.
  • Clean restrooms and other areas, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Opportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be available in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation.
  1. Required Education: N/A Preferred Education: HS DEGREE
  2. Work Experience:
    1. 1-year previous laundry/ housekeeping experience required
  3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    1. Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
    2. Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations.
    3. Must be computer literate
  4. Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements: N/A
  5. Must be 18+ years old and be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  6. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background check for an AZ Gaming License.
  7. Must adhere to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
