Job description

Athletic Sports Camp Volunteer

Summer Camp Volunteers Needed!

We are looking for volunteers who are Juniors & Seniors in High School, and College Students to help in the sports summer camp.

Position Description:

Volunteers will aid assistant coaches throughout the camp day.

  • Help transition your group of campers from one sport to another.
  • Assist coaches in teaching/explaining sport activity
  • Supervise campers at lunch and pool time
  • Encourages campers
  • Act as a role model
  • Maintain safety at all times

Volunteer Requirements

  • Upper Classmen (Sophomore, Junior or Senior)
  • Enjoys working with the youth
  • We expect all volunteers to be respectful to campers, parents and fellow coaches

Application Deadline

  • Deadline to submit complete applications is Sunday, May 10th
  • Interviews will be scheduled on Tuesday, May 12th 
  • Mandatory training for selected volunteers is scheduled for Sunday, May 31st

Benefits

  • 40 Volunteer hours will be given for services rendered. *Please remember to bring your service form to sign off on your hours.*
  • Meals provided by the Laredo Country Club
  • Volunteer shirts provided
