Job description

What We're Looking For:
Are you ahard-working and dedicated college student who is looking to gain valuable workexperience in your field? Do you want to gain experience while learning fromgreat mentors and leaders? Barge Design Solutions is looking for someone likeyou to intern this summer.
You willgain experience in:
  • Participate in fieldwork activities such as sampling, monitoring, and environmental surveys.
  • Document findings from field activities and compile data for analysis, including GIS mapping.
  • Collaborate with team members in planning and executing field visits.
  • Assist in creating reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings.
  • Assist in ensuring that the company's practices align with environmental regulations.
  • Help in maintaining records, permits, and documentation required for regulatory compliance.

Education & Experience Qualifications:
Qualifications
  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, or related field.
    Current GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Passion for environmental or ecological studies.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Preference will be given to students that do not require sponsorship

AdditionalDetails:
  • This is a paid internship working full-time hours (40) per week.
  • This is an in-person work opportunity.
  • Interns are not eligible for company benefits.
