Fishers Event Centerhas an excellent and immediate opening for apart-timeFood & Beverage Supervisor.TheFood & BeverageSupervisor requires an individual to have supervisory skills, customer service skills, positive attitude, knowledge of food preparation, oversee all areas in preparing location and area for day-to-day operation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ordering,receivingand preparing food items

  • Maintaining food costs and budget goals

  • Ensures all locations are fully stocked prior to every event

  • Attend in-house event-related meetings and relays immediate changes with other departments

  • Ensures all requisitionstothe Warehouse and Kitchen are received in a timely manner, in accordance with Company policy.

  • Coordinates with Kitchen on the timing and production offoodpreparation

  • Mustpossesseffective communications skills to liaise between Kitchen and Warehouse Teams

  • Mustpossesseffectivecommunicationwith NPO Groups, bartenders,third party subcontractorsandconcession employees

  • Ability to oversee production of retail food operations to beprepared for peak and slowperiods

  • Ableto adequately trouble shoot point of sale equipment

  • Inventoryand qualitycontrols

  • Ability to handleand properly respond toguest concerns

  • Working hours vary by show to include days, nights, weekdays, and weekends

  • Maintains all concessions and bar equipment. Adheres to cleaning and sanitation schedule.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises allConcessionspersonnel andNPOstaff.Carries outsupervisory responsibilitiesin accordance withcompany policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilityrequired

  • Serve-safe certified

Education and/or Experience

  • Atleast1years ofsupervisoryexperience in aretail food establishment

  • Mustpossessa valid Indiana Server Liquor License and certificate of completion of Indiana Excise training courses

Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong orientation to customer service and ability to work with other staff members in the facility.

  • Results oriented individual with the ability to meet required budgetary goals.

  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication, and inter-personal skills.

  • Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.

  • Computer skills to include Excel programs.

  • Must adhere to local Health Department codes.
