Responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all beverage outlets in compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures on all federal, state and local liquor, health, and safety regulations. Responsible for personnel-related matters including but not limited to: interviewing, hiring, scheduling, coaching and training. Assist the F&B Manager in establishing budget goals and monitoring financial aspects of the Food and Beverage department.
Essential Job Functions:
• Excellent internal/external guest service;
• Monitor the operation of all beverage outlets to ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures, and all federal, state and local liquor, health, and safety regulations;
• Monitor and review the administrative duties performed by beverage supervisors for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all policies and procedures;
• Monitor staffing levels of all Food and Beverage outlets and assist supervisors in making adjustments according to business needs;
• Assist the F&B Manager in establishing budget goals and objectives and monitoring financial aspects of the Food and Beverage department;
• Responsible for personnel-related matters including but not limited to: interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, evaluating, promoting, counseling, and training;
• Establish and monitor adherence to standards of service for each food and beverage outlet;
• Represent the Food and Beverage department in labor matters, unemployment hearings, and other internal/external employee related hearings as needed;
• Other reasonable duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • High School/GED preferred
  • 1 year experience in the same or similar position preferred.

Preferred:
Bilingual a plus
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Thorough knowledge of service standards, food and beverage products, preparations, and presentation
  • Computer experience
  • Exposure to bright lights and noise at times - casino environment.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
