Job description

Provides graphic design and layout solutions for intelligence products including, but not limited to, developing illustrations, editing existing images, font management, and advanced pre-publications techniques. Integrates graphics with text, audio and video to support interactive and multimedia high-visibility finished intelligence products. Works collaboratively with analysts to understand requirements and further enhances / conveys analytic thoughts and assessments by developing graphic and layout solutions. Demonstrates proficiency in professional graphics and design software to include, but not limited to, Apple Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Creative Suite and Apple Mac hardware platforms.

Requirements

  • Experience working on graphic design projects and creative direction assignments
  • Experience facilitating discussions with clients about complex workforce messages, data representations, and analytic ideas
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud (including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), AfterEffects, Premiere Pro, XD, and Audition), Maya, MAPublisher, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with data visualization, finished intelligence, and infographic production
  • Experience adhering to brand management guidelines
  • Experience working in IC or DoD environments
  • Ability to be a self-starter, pay strict attention to detail, and multitask across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with the client to define project requirements and provide process advice for optimal visual communication production
  • Ability to provide a portfolio showcasing a broad range of graphic design competencies
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written skills, including communicating presentations to internal and external professionals at all levels
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
