Job description

We have an outstanding Contract position for an APG Mechanic to join a leading Company located in the Greenville, SC surrounding area.

**US Citizenship is required.**
**Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.**

Responsibilities:
  • As the Production FACO APG Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, and modifying aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards
  • The Production FACO APG Technician will also need to be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance including:
    • Landing gear
    • Powerplants
    • Flight controls
    • Fueling/Defueling
    • Aircraft movement/Launch & Recovery

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • Minimum 5 years of recent aircraft experience (fighter preferred but not required); Manager will consider candidates with 4 years if they have relevant fighter jet experience
  • Phase Maintenance, Final Assembly, or Flight Ops/Flight Readiness experience
  • Clearance at minimum must be in process at the time of start; Active Clearance not required, but is preferred
  • Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or Weekend shift as assigned after training
    • 1st Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 6:00am-4:30p
    • 2nd Shift - Mon. thru Thurs.; 4:30p-3:00am
    • Weekend Shift Thus-Sun 6:00am-4:30p
