Captain - Flight Ops in  GAC Savannah


Unique Skills:

Gulfstream type rating preferred.  Corporate Aviation experience preferred.  International experience preferred. 


 

Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 5 years flight experience as a professional pilot in aviation industry required.. 1500 hours total flight time, or 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command of turbine powered aircraft. Gulfstream type rating preferred.. ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) Upon Hire required. Other 1st Class FAA Medical Certificate Upon Hire required. Position Purpose: Act as crew within Gulfstream Flight Operations
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions:
  1. In accordance with Gulfstream Flight Operations FOM/SOP, as crew, domestically and internationally (when qualified), operate Gulfstream aircraft in support of Airborne Customer Support (ACS), corporate transportation, customer accommodation, demonstration, Gulfstream maintenance, production test, and any other functions as assigned .
  2. Must possess a broad knowledge and understanding of flight operations .
  3. Communicate with Gulfstream personnel to facilitate effective support of Gulfstream and our Customers .
  4. Manage and execute any assigned ancillary responsibilities .
  5. Adhere to Gulfstream corporate policies, department Flight Operations Manual (FOM) policies and procedures .
  6. Effectively coordinate the assessment and repair of aircraft issues with Corporate Maintenance, Production/Completion, and Technical Operations as needed .
Additional Functions:
  1. Proactively assist Gulfstream Dispatch with planning and coordination of flight activity .
  2. Manage the safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flight activities .
  3. Strive to be a positive brand ambassador for Gulfstream and General Dynamics .
Perform other duties as assigned.This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
