Position Summary:
The System Operations Controller deciphers, facilitates and documents all customer operational scheduling requirements for our fleet of aircraft within a rolling 72-hour window. This position is accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and implementation of customer flight schedules within our 72-hour window. It is also accountable for timely communication, accurate ground handling setup, overall, on-time performance and providing professional customer service.
Major Job Accountabilities:
  • Maintain AIMS operating system database with aircraft dispositions
  • Build and manage flight schedules in AIMS
  • Process customer's operational requests (i.e. schedule changes, courier listing requests, etc.)
  • Research and set up required ground support for commercial charter flights, AMC missions, and diversions.
  • Act as the main point of contact (POC) for the 72-hour window of operation for customers, ops teams and ground ops staff.
  • Communicate l information/changes to all affected stations, vendors and departments.
  • Review reports for operational data and update the operating system as necessary
  • Monitor all flight activity including researching and coding delays
  • Assist customers with operational issues and offline flying when requested.
  • Assist customers with information on the movement of their shipments.
  • Act as a liaison between System Control and all other GCC department staff.
  • Handle a high volume of communications, including telephone, SITA, and email traffic.
  • Ensure that Customs, Immigration and Agriculture are arranged for Commercial Charters entering the U.S.
  • Help Coordinate recovery plans for aircraft disruptions

Qualifications:
  • BS or BA degree in aviation or equivalent relevant experience required.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Prior airline operations experience preferred
  • Comfortable with making key decisions
  • Computer proficiency
  • Perform well under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility with work schedule to include working nights, weekends and holidays
  • Able to successfully complete required OJT training

Competitive compensation will be offered based on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity and other factors.
