Title: Global Ethics Audit Project Manager
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Duration: 3 month contract
Compensation: $80/hr-$100/hr.
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holder, or Authorized to Work in the United States
Project Background
Our client is seeking an experienced Audit Project Manager to support a Global Ethics audit engagement currently in the fieldwork phase. This individual will assume responsibility for managing the audit, overseeing audit execution, reviewing workpapers, and providing leadership to audit team members throughout the remainder of the engagement.
Job Description
The Global Ethics Audit Project Manager will be responsible for managing audit activities, supervising audit staff, reviewing workpapers, communicating audit status and results, and supporting report preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services auditing and proven experience managing complex audit engagements.
Responsibilities
Audit Management
  • Manage the Global Ethics audit engagement during the fieldwork phase.
  • Oversee audit activities and ensure timely completion of audit objectives.
  • Monitor progress, risks, and deliverables throughout the engagement.
  • Communicate audit status, key findings, and risks to stakeholders.
Team Leadership
  • Supervise audit staff and provide guidance throughout the audit lifecycle.
  • Review and approve audit workpapers and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure audit procedures are executed in accordance with audit standards and methodologies.
  • Support team members in resolving issues and addressing audit challenges.
Reporting & Communication
  • Prepare and review audit reports.
  • Communicate audit results and recommendations to management.
  • Present audit findings and status updates to leadership.
  • Support audit issue tracking and remediation activities.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of financial services audit experience.
  • Experience managing audit engagements and leading audit teams.
  • Experience reviewing and approving audit workpapers.
  • Experience communicating audit status, findings, and recommendations.
  • Strong report writing and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of audit methodology, risk assessment, and control evaluation.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
  • Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA).
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
  • Experience auditing ethics, compliance, or governance programs.
