Flex Staff Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team in Port Charlotte, Florida. You will be working onsite at our outpatient office located in Port Charlotte, Florida, where you will engage directly with patients in a supportive and state-of-the-art facility. Flexible working hours include 40 hours per week, with variable weekends, aimed at providing optimal work-life balance. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations and assessments to identify functional limitations and disabilities.
• Developing, implementing, and modifying individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and progress.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary treatment team, including physicians and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educating patients and their families regarding their conditions, treatment plans, and exercises to promote recovery.
• Maintaining clear and effective communication through verbal, written, and electronic documentation while meeting productivity and compliance standards.
• Contributing to leadership functions, including community outreach and program development initiatives.
• Supervising and mentoring support staff, including physical therapy assistants and students, ensuring a high standard of care delivery throughout the department.
• Engaging in continuous self-improvement through attending staff meetings and participating in professional development activities.

Our patient population primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse group of patients of all ages and backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs. To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.

• Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

While a minimum of two years of physical therapy experience is required, we prefer candidates who demonstrate:

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings, particularly with orthopedic populations.
• A proven track record of implementing effective treatment plans that enhance patient outcomes.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
