Job description

Greenlight Networks is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fleet Manager to oversee and optimize our vehicle fleet operations. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for managing a diverse range of vehicles, ensuring efficient maintenance, compliance, and cost-effective operations. Essential Functions: Develop and implement comprehensive fleet management strategies and policies to optimize the utilization of company vehicles.

Monitor and maintain the fleet inventory, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, and disposal. Coordinate vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Manages, purchasing, insurance, and related record keeping for fleet vehicles.

Manage relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective services. Track and analyze fleet performance metrics, including fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and driver behavior, and provide regular reports to management. Prepare financial and forecasting needs for fleet and present to leadership and investment teams.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Strong knowledge of fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, and applicable regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Advanced negotiation skills and knowledge. Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and the ability to maintain insurability under the company's auto policy are essential. Educaton and Experience Requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least 6 years of experience. Proficient in using fleet management software, databases, and other relevant tools.

Proficiency with Excel/Word/Powerpoint. Compensation: Our job titles may span more than one career level. The pay range for this position is $73,000 - $95,000.
