Job Overview:

The Opportunity:

You will report directly to the President as a vital executive leader, steering multiple high-stakes civil projects while building a high-performing operations department. This role empowers you to mentor Project Managers, optimize regional field logistics, and directly influence company profitability. You will champion advanced construction technology and standard operating procedures to scale a rapidly growing, employee-owned organization.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Direct multi-project operations from initial award through final closeout to ensure target gross profit margins.
  • Mentor and develop Project Managers and Superintendents to foster a highly accountable field leadership team.
  • Manage comprehensive financial forecasting, job costing, monthly cash flows, and work-in-progress reporting.
  • Standardize operational planning and communication pipelines between the corporate office and field teams.
  • Lead high-level conflict resolutions and contract negotiations with owners, engineers, and municipal authorities.
  • Enforce strict compliance with OSHA safety standards while promoting an proactive, safety-first workforce culture.
  • Deploy modern construction technology including construction specific software, scheduling software, and drone documentation to maximize efficiency.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years managing complex heavy civil construction and site development projects.

  • Advanced expertise in contract administration, change order management, and critical path scheduling.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Deep expertise in earthwork, roadway construction, concrete paving, and underground utility systems.
