We are looking for a skilled, proactive, and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to ensure our facilities and fitness equipment operate at peak performance.
The Mission
As a Maintenance Technician, you are the ultimate guardian of our club's safety and operational functionality. You will focus on changing lives by delivering a safe, pristine, and fully operational facility. By keeping equipment downtime to an absolute minimum and bringing our core T.R.A.I.N. philosophy (Timely, Ready, Aware, Inspiring, Noble) to life, you ensure our community can train without interruption.
Key Responsibilities
  • Safety & Walk-Throughs: Conduct daily safety walk-throughs of the entire facility to immediately identify, log, and resolve any immediate safety hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Maintain a comprehensive log of preventative maintenance and perform monthly OSHA safety checks in strict accordance with OSHA and PM guidelines.
  • Equipment Management: Build and maintain an accurate history file on all fitness, facility, and specialized martial arts equipment to track longevity and repair cycles.
  • Procurement & Inventory: Efficiently procure necessary repair parts, materials, tools, and equipment while staying within budget guidelines.
  • Special Projects: Execute specialized facility projects and upgrades as directed by the General Manager and Operations Manager to continuously elevate the club environment.

What You Bring
  • Expertise: General knowledge of HVAC and/or electrical systems, with a strong mechanical aptitude for diagnosing and fixing equipment issues.
  • Experience: Previous operational or maintenance experience specifically within a gym or health club environment is required.
  • Communication: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with management and minimal disruption to members on the floor.
  • Punctuality: Exceptional time management skills and a reliable track record for executing scheduled checklists.

Requirements & Certifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Proven technical experience in building maintenance or equipment repair.
  • Current CPR/AED certification (or willingness to complete during onboarding).
  • Physical capability to stand, bend, lift, and move heavy gym equipment up to 50 lbs. as required.
