The Service Advisor is responsible for guiding the customer through the maintenance scheduling process and repair of their vehicle. Our company is looking for a customer-centric individual who is passionate about building relationships with our customers. Strong costumer service skills, technical knowledge and the ability to explain complex issues are essential for success in this role.


Job Duties:

  • Provide front-line customer service and sales for the Service Department.
  • Greet customers on the phone or in the Dealership. Ascertain the reason for their visit, whether it is for scheduled maintenance, repairs, or warranty work.
  • Work with customers to address their questions or concerns.
  • Ensure that customer vehicles are adequately cared for and stay updated on the progress of their repairs.
  • Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of vehicle repairs.
  • Complete a follow-up to ensure that customers have no additional questions about the repair of their vehicle.
  • Providing repair recommendations and accurate estimates of repair costs and time required for repairs or maintenance.
  • Advising customers how to look after their vehicles and book maintenance appointments.
  • Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving customer concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain records of all services performed and ensure that all documentation is complete.
  • Promote dealership service and parts sales, including special promotions and discounts.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager/Fixed Operations Manager.


Successful Candidates Possess:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, Post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
  • Strong automotive knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems and repairs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using automotive service software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
