Fisher Associates is seeking a motivated Project Manager - Bridge Engineering to join our growing transportation team. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in bridge design, structural analysis, transportation infrastructure, project management, and quality control who are ready to lead projects from concept development through final design and construction support.

What You'll Do as a Transportation Bridge Project Manager

  • Lead the planning, design, and delivery of bridge transportation projects.
  • Manage project budgets, scope, schedule, and staffing to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
  • Lead design strategy in collaboration with teams and clients to ensure alignment and seamless delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, permitting requirements, and quality standards.
  • Identify project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and stakeholders
  • Cultivate and strengthen client relationships to support successful project outcomes and repeat business.
  • Oversee project billing, client updates, QA/QC of deliverables, and project closeout.
  • Support proposal development, scope definition, and fee estimates for new and existing clients.
  • Mentor and support the development of junior staff.

Requirements

What You Bring, Your Expertise as a Transportation Bridge Project Manager

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Master's preferred
  • 7+ years progressive transportation bridge design engineering and project management experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing bridge design transportation projects from design through delivery.
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MicroStation, STAAD and Bridge Design Software preferred
  • Proven success in developing trusted, long-term client relationships
  • Familiarity with NYSDOT design standards preferred
  • Dedicated to fostering trusting relationships through collaboration, integrity and respect.
  • Deliver high-quality work using critical thinking, sound judgment, and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proactively own projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, growth environment.

Salary Range $95,000-$130,000

Actual compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and other factors. The listed salary range does not guarantee specific pay or reflect total compensation and excludes the value of benefits.
