Fishing Guide - Summer Season (Minnesota)


Join our team as a Summer Fishing Guide in Minnesota, where you will have the opportunity to share your passion for fishing and outdoor adventure with clients while working on the beautiful Lake of the Woods and Rainy River. We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide who is committed to providing exceptional experiences for our guests. If you enjoy outdoor recreation and have a strong sense of safety and professionalism, we encourage you to apply.


Key Responsibilities:

- Lead fishing excursions on Lake of the Woods, ensuring a fun and memorable experience for clients

- Provide expert guidance on fishing techniques, local fish species, and lake conditions

- Ensure the safety of all guests by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining vessel safety standards

- Maintain and operate fishing equipment and boats in excellent condition

- Assist clients with fishing gear, baiting hooks, and handling catches

- Communicate effectively with guests to enhance their outdoor experience

- Follow all regulations and licensing requirements, including Coast Guard licensing


Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid Coast Guard license or equivalent certification

- Proven experience as a fishing guide or in a similar outdoor recreation role

- Strong knowledge of Minnesota lakes, fish species, and fishing techniques

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to operate and maintain boats and fishing equipment safely

- Physical ability to handle outdoor activities and work in varying weather conditions

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
