Security Guard Position At The DuPont Country Club

The DuPont Country Club, nestled within the rolling hills of the historic Brandywine Valley, is one of the premier venues to promote leisure activities through championship caliber golf courses, state of the art tennis facilities, pools, and an updated fitness center. Elegantly decorated rooms, magnificent natural surroundings, customized event planning and impeccable service make any event at the DuPont Country Club truly a special occasion. The DuPont Country Club is currently seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Guard to join our team in support of our facilities.

The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, members and guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
  • Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
  • Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons
  • Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and evict violators from premises as necessary

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position preferred
  • Ability to operate emergency equipment
