Div. 133 - Ashburn, VA

Summary

Responsibilities for Sales Representative is to promote, estimate and sell fire protection sprinkler systems, repairs and upgrades to existing and new clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of Fire Protection contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and utilizing outlined marketing strategies.
  • Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company offerings.
  • Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives.
  • Develop a positive ongoing relationship with existing and new customers, general contractors and end users.
  • Estimate small projects including fixed price service as required in addition to large projects ranging from $100k-$1MM+.
  • Manage projects as needed (i.e. change orders, field issues) and attend job walks and construction meetings as needed.
  • Ability to build new business associations / relationships and grow the Fire Protection Business

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years Fire Sprinkler Estimating/Sales or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiar with reading blueprints, understanding current NFPA 13, 14, and 20 standards and local codes.

Computer Skills

Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
