Antler's Restaurant at Breezy Point is a Brainerd Lakes Area favorite for fine dining in a casual atmosphere. Antler's has a country club atmosphere and we are looking for a chef to join us and contribute to the art of fine-dining restaurant cooking. This is a great spot for you to learn and grow from chefs around the country in the beautiful town of Breezy Point.

Job Duties & Requirements:

  • Prepare meals and foods requiring short preparation times, according to customer requirements.
  • Grill and garnish hamburgers or other meats.
  • Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
  • Monitors, arranges the appropriate storage of food and supplies, keeps kitchen area clean and organized.
  • Ensure adequate food quantities for meal preparation.
  • Maintains cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
  • Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
  • Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to deliver high-quality, great tasting food; proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • One to two years of experience as a line cook, restaurant cook or prep cook preferred.
  • Good organizational and verbal communication skills.
  • Food Servsafe Certificate is preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • Must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be willing to do a background screening for this position.
