Position Summary
Join our team!
We are hiring for the role of Utilities Manager - Collection System in the Utilities Department.
Essential Job Functions
  • Supervise and direct assigned personnel.
  • Assist in maintaining department mapping system.
  • Manage dispatch team that receives/responds to sewer complaints.
  • Administer staff in evaluating/maintaining sanitary sewer collection system & storm sewer assets.
  • Oversee a sewer rehabilitation program.
  • Oversee sewer projects performed by department personnel and contractors.
  • Assist in administering department budget.
  • Oversee maintenance of department vehicles, including, but not limited to commercial motor vehicles, & equipment.
  • Serve on various committees.
  • Serve on 24-hour call for emergencies.

The City of Noblesville pays 80% of the medical, dental and vision premiums for full-time city employees. Insurance premiums are deducted over 24 pays per year.

Employee Healthcare Clinic
Full-time employees have access to a Health and Wellness Clinic which provides many health and wellness services for employees and dependents on the city's medical healthcare plan. Many of the services provided are those you would expect to receive from a family physician. The clinic also provides generic prescriptions and clinical lab testing. All services provided at the Health and Wellness Clinic are provided at no cost to the employee.
