Job Description
The Financial Systems & Reporting Analyst will be responsible for designing and developing simple to complex custom reports, dashboards, and scorecards in Workday and Adaptive. This role requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of Workday and Adaptive reporting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in these financial systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Business Intelligence, Operations and other departments to understand business needs and translate them into technical reporting requirements
  • Design and develop simple to complex custom reports in Workday and Adaptive, including Advanced, Matrix and Composite reports, and Adaptive's Office Connect
  • Build and maintain dynamic dashboards and scorecards using Workday Prism Analytics and Discovery Boards
  • Provide analysis on the impact of Workday updates and new releases on existing reports and recommend necessary changes
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues for all existing custom reports, ensuring data accuracy and optimal performance
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all reports, including data dictionaries and metadata, to facilitate future maintenance and user understanding
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting or a similar role, specifically using Workday and Adaptive
  • Proficiency in Workday Financials report development using Report Writer, Report Designer, and Calculated Fields
  • Strong understanding of Workday Adaptive Planning processes and best practices
  • Workday Financials certification is highly preferred
  • Experience with ERP and EPM system concepts
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into functional report designs
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
