We're hiring a Financial Systems Administrator III at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO and we're looking for someone who's ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. This position is fully remote.
EquipmentShare is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Financial Systems Administrator III to support and enhance financial systems and processes. This role is responsible for administering EquipmentShare's proprietary T3 applications and related financial platforms, including Sage Intacct, while partnering closely with Finance, Operations, and IT.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Administer user accounts, roles, permissions, and access levels within T3 applications, Sage Intacct, and related financial systems.
  • Manage and assist in automating user onboarding, offboarding, and access changes, ensuring timely and accurate provisioning in alignment with business needs and internal controls.
  • Maintain and support role-based security structures, approval paths, user groups, and other access-related system configurations.
  • Review, troubleshoot, and resolve user access issues, security conflicts, and permission-related system problems, serving as an escalation point for more complex cases.
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, IT, and People teams to ensure user access is appropriate, compliant, and aligned with job responsibilities.
  • Perform regular access audits, validation, and monitoring activities to help maintain data integrity and support audit readiness.
  • Document and maintain user administration procedures, access models, and related controls to support consistency and scalability.
  • Support financial system administration tasks related to user setup, workflow routing, and organizational structure changes such as locations, departments, or reporting relationships.
  • Assist with system enhancements, upgrades, and testing activities that impact user roles, permissions, workflows, or security models.
  • Develop and maintain reports or queries related to user access, security, and system activity, including the use of system reporting tools and SQL where applicable.
  • Identify inefficiencies or recurring issues in user administration processes and recommend practical improvements to enhance accuracy, control, and user experience.
  • Provide guidance to users on system access, navigation, and role-based functionality across Sage Intacct and T3 applications.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of core financial and accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, close, reconciliations, reporting, and audit controls.
  • Experience with system administration responsibilities such as configuration, security, permissions, workflows, reporting, and user support.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and make thoughtful decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Familiarity with reporting and data analysis tools, including SQL.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into effective system solutions.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3+ years of experience administering, supporting, or optimizing ERP, financial systems, or other complex business-critical applications.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
